Puget Sound Beekeepers Association

Redesign of PSBA's Website

Puget Sound Beekeepers Association website needed updating. Their site was on an old basic WordPress template that was adequate for delivery information, but lacked character.

Keeping Website on Wordpress

The WordPress Dashboard was already fairly familiar to the main contributor to PSBA's site, so staying with WordPress made sense. Customizing the site and adding several of the robust features WordPress has to offer made even more sense! Paying via PayPal, Constant Comment newsletter signup, multiple blogs, etc. has made this site even more engaging.

And given the flexibility of WordPress, the site can grow easily as the group finds new ways to reach out to the beekeeping community in the Puget Sound area.

Blogs

PSBA wanted to increase their outreach to their members and the community by sharing more information about the happenings in the Apiary as well as about new research efforts. but they were fearful that info might get lost in the main "News &and Events" blog. By using inherent WordPress tools - Categories and Menus - I was able to provide the site with "3" blogs.
